Onyx Ventures Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Onyx Worldwide AG, is a private equity business. The Group invests mainly in African and Australasian companies involved in Mineral Resources development and Supply Chain and Services Management. It is also an incubator for early stage projects in it’s chosen markets.
The Resources and Supply Chain worlds are convergent and a project identified in one of these fields invariably has the potential for optimisation and participation across the other. Services and Customer Management, too, are important to long term success in all the projects in which Onyx Ventures invests.

Founded in 2006, Onyx Ventures brings together strategic, financial, technical and operational skills to build value in the projects and businesses with which it is involved. Through an extensive network of experienced “know like and trust” relationships in Africa and Australasia, Onyx Ventures identifies and invests in projects and businesses that fit the overall themes of the Group’s activities.
Stakes in Onyx group businesses have been built to date with a combined equity value in excess of US$100m and annual turnover in excess of US$50m.
